Safety curtain is here to stop distracting greyhounds after finish
Some greyhounds don't stop after race finished but they continue in runnig and they run even another circle even if there insn't any lure. Stewards often run to catch them but greyhound sometimes change directory and run away and that is the reason why the Greyhound Park Motol has got safety curtain.
Safety curtain prevent greyhounds to crowding near by lure
When stewars let greyhound run to the lure - it isn't so good. We don't mention training method where greyhound catch lure and for a pleasure he baits it. Some greyhounds have got tendency to bring catched lure to their master or keep it for themselves.
If they crowd near by lure then they comepete between them who is owner of this lure. They could harm they feet or they could harm themselves during the trying to bite the lure. or they can harm themselves if they want to get the lure as the first. Protection for crowding of greyhounds near by the lure is safety curtain
Racing technologies in the Greyhound Park Motol in Prague
14.8.2012 - Volunteers from the Czech Greyhound Racing Federation (CGRF) tested racing technologies - the safety curtain. They collect samples of safety fence designed for asphalt racing circuit with chicanes for different kinds of sports that are prepared for next athletes.

Testing of the racing technologies is not posible without greyhounds. Members of the Czech Greyhound Racing Federation use this results for own needs. Young greyhounds had got a piece of luck that day and these young greyhounds comes to the Czech Republic from Australia.

Contractor of the work did not finished the work even to the 15.8.2012 - building VSA Motol Multi purpose stadium Greyhound Park Motol in Prague. Conctractor of the work is contractually obligated to complete the work and pass the client on the date June 15, 2012
What about greyhound racing in the Czech Republic?
Greyhound races in the Czech Republic are runnig with a different organizations on different racetracks. Sand race tracks (that is the best for the grehound) have got only two organizations. One of them is the new racing track called the Greyhound Park Motol a the old-new one is greyhound sand racing track in Praskačka near by Hradec Králové.

What are greyhounds races
Dogs do that what they were born to and what they were bred to - they simply run. They run, run and run. They run for a reason - from pure pleasure from movement and they run becasue they want to catch lure
Well, why not to enjoy them this pleasure ...
Dogs usualy like to catch - frisbee or thrown ball. You can see also happy chases of dogs in parks.
Dogs like runnig in Greyhound Park Motol - it is almost like on sandy beach. We don't throw ball to them - but we let go lure on a rail. If we look at happy Queen Vuitton or happy Big Daddy Gucci on attached pictures you can see that they enjoyed race.
