Time keeping - photofinish

Two separate timing systems can measure running greyhounds at the race track Praskacka:

Primary digital timing connected with a PC, digital camera and a printer - ALGE Timing

     Technical specifications:

• Trigger devices are placed on the front grill of the starting boxes - it triggers the timing system.
• Any racer that runs in the finish is recorded by the digital finish camera - photofinish, pictures are recorded in the PC.
• The computer automatically records all runs, parameters photofinish pictures on a local hard disk.

• The operators cannot influnence the timing results.
• The camera can record up to 2000 frames / sec.
• Time measuring with an accuracy of thousandth of second.
  
  

Secondary, back-up, timing  – photocell system - ALGE Timing

• Trigger devices are placed on the front grill of the starting boxes - it triggers the timing system
• If a racer runs in the finish the photocell system records the results in the memory or it can be printed out.
